Workslayr offers powerful dashboards designed to provide both individual employees and administrators with immediate, relevant insights into their daily operations and overall company performance. Understanding how to navigate and customize these dashboards is key to maximizing your productivity and operational awareness within Workslayr’s all-in-one platform.
My Dashboard: Your Personal Command Center #
Your ‘My Dashboard’ is a personalized view tailored to your individual tasks, projects, and key information. Every employee, including administrators, has access to this dashboard, making it the first point of contact after logging in. You can always find it as the initial option under ‘Dashboard’ in your left navigation bar.
One of the most frequently used features on ‘My Dashboard’ is the ‘Clock In/Out’ button, prominently located at the top right. This allows you to easily track your work hours. Your company’s settings determine if you need to clock in before starting tasks or if you can start a timer without clocking in, which is particularly useful for contractual work. When you clock in, Workslayr prompts you to select your company location and specify your working environment (Office, Home, or Other).
Workslayr understands that every role is different, which is why your ‘My Dashboard’ is highly customizable. Next to the ‘Clock In’ button, a cogwheel icon labeled ‘Dashboard Widget Settings’ allows you to select which widgets appear on your screen. You can choose to display or hide widgets like ‘My Tasks’ (showing pending and overdue tasks), ‘Weekly Time Logs’, ‘Projects’ (for your in-progress and overdue projects), ‘My Calendar’, ‘Birthdays’, and more. This ensures your dashboard provides the most relevant operational data to you at a glance, allowing you to quickly focus on what matters most.
Admin Dashboard: A Holistic Company Overview #
For administrators, the ‘Admin Dashboard’ provides a comprehensive, high-level view of the entire company’s operations. This powerful tool is exclusively available to users with administrator roles, providing them with the necessary oversight without overwhelming individual employees. To learn more about access levels, refer to User Roles Explained.
The ‘Admin Dashboard’ is organized into several tabs, each offering specific operational insights:
- Overview Tab: This tab presents 8 critical metrics, including total clients, total employees, total projects, due invoices, and hours logged. It also features various graphs and charts for income, timesheets, pending leaves, and different activity types, giving you a quick pulse on your business’s health.
- Project Tab: Focuses on project-specific metrics such as total projects, overdue projects, and total hours logged across all projects.
- Client Tab: Provides important client-related data like total clients, leads, deals, conversion rates, and contract statuses. You’ll also find charts detailing client-wise earnings and timesheets.
- HR Tab: Offers insights into workforce management, covering approved leaves, employee exits, daily attendance, and employee demographics broken down by designation, department, gender, and role.
- Finance Tab: Summarizes key financial metrics such as total paid and due invoices, expenses, earnings, and pending amounts, often based on your configured currency. You can also view proposal, client earning, project earning, invoice, and estimate overviews.
Similar to ‘My Dashboard’, administrators can utilize a date selector in the top right corner of each tab to filter analytics data for specific periods. A cogwheel icon is also available on each Admin Dashboard tab, allowing you to customize which widgets are displayed, ensuring your view is always relevant to your current focus.
Workslayr offers two distinct dashboard experiences tailored to different user needs: the My Dashboard for individual employees and the Admin Dashboard for company administrators. Understanding the purpose and functionality of each is key to effectively managing operations, tracking personal progress, and gaining insights into your service business. These dashboards are central to Workslayr’s commitment to providing an all-in-one operational software platform.
My Dashboard: Your Personal Command Center #
The My Dashboard serves as an employee’s personalized homepage within Workslayr, accessible as the first option under ‘Dashboard’ in your left navigation bar. Every employee, including those with administrative roles, has access to this view. Its primary purpose is to display information directly relevant to your individual work and responsibilities.
A crucial feature on My Dashboard is the ability to clock in and out. You’ll find a prominent ‘Clock In’ button in the top right corner. Depending on how your profile is configured, you might be required to clock in before starting work on projects or tasks. When clocking in, a pop-up guides you to select your company location and working environment (Office, Home, or Other).
You can also customize your view using the Dashboard Widget Settings, represented by a cogwheel icon. This allows you to toggle on or off various widgets to personalize the information visible to you. For instance, you can choose to see widgets like your tasks (pending and overdue), weekly time logs, leads, projects, and your calendar. Clicking on these widgets will often take you directly to the detailed screens for those items, offering quick navigation.
Admin Dashboard: The Company’s Operational Hub #
In contrast, the Admin Dashboard is specifically designed for administrators and provides a comprehensive, high-level overview of your entire company’s operations. Access to this dashboard is exclusively for administrators and can be found under ‘Dashboard’ alongside ‘My Dashboard’ in the left navigation bar.
The Admin Dashboard is organized into several tabs, each focusing on different operational aspects of your business. The Overview Tab presents 8 key metrics, including total clients, total employees, total projects, due invoices, and hours logged. This tab also features various graphs and charts for income, time sheets, pending leaves, and more.
Beyond the overview, dedicated tabs provide granular insights:
- The Project Tab offers metrics on total and overdue projects and total hours logged.
- The Client Tab summarizes total clients, leads, deals, and contract statuses, alongside charts for client-wise earnings and time sheets.
- The HR Tab delves into employee data, attendance, and staffing trends.
- The Tickets Tab tracks resolved, unresolved, and unassigned tickets.
- The Finance Tab provides financial details such as total paid and due invoices, total expenses, and total earnings, with charts for proposal, invoice, and estimate overviews.
Each tab on the Admin Dashboard includes a date selector in the top right corner, allowing you to filter all analytics data by specific timeframes using date filters. Similar to My Dashboard, administrators can also utilize a cogwheel icon to customize which specific widgets appear within each of these administrative tabs.
