The Admin Dashboard in Workslayr serves as your central command center, offering a high-level view of your business operations. Unlike an individual My Dashboard, which focuses on personal tasks and schedules, the Admin Dashboard provides administrators with critical insights across various facets of the company. The Overview tab is specifically designed to immediately present the most crucial metrics and a snapshot of overall performance, helping you make informed decisions quickly.
Understanding the Overview Tab #
Upon accessing the Admin Dashboard, the Overview tab is the default view. This tab is meticulously arranged to display key performance indicators (KPIs) and visual data representations that highlight your company’s operational health. It’s an essential tool for administrators to monitor trends, identify potential issues, and track progress at a glance.
The Overview tab features eight primary widgets that bring critical information to your fingertips. These include figures for Total Clients and Total Employees, giving you an immediate sense of your company’s scale. You can also quickly see the number of Total Projects currently underway, alongside financial indicators like Due Invoices. For workforce management, the tab displays Hours Logged and a count of Pending Tasks Daily, offering insight into workload and productivity. Furthermore, administrators can monitor Today Attendance and the number of Unresolved Tickets, ensuring customer support and employee presence are on track.
Customizing Your Overview #
Much like the My Dashboard, the Admin Dashboard allows for customization. Using the cogwheel icon, which functions as the Dashboard Widget Settings, you can control which specific widgets are visible on the Overview tab. This means you can tailor the view to prioritize the metrics most relevant to your oversight responsibilities. This flexibility ensures that your dashboard provides meaningful data without unnecessary clutter.
Key Metrics and Visualizations #
Beyond the primary widgets, the Overview tab enhances data comprehension with a variety of graphs and charts. These visual aids transform raw data into easily digestible insights. You’ll find charts for Income and Time Sheets, helping you visualize financial trends and employee time allocation. Other important visualizations include those for Pending Leaves, providing an HR overview, and Open Tickets, for tracking customer service efficiency. There are also graphs detailing Pending Tasks, Pending Follow-ups, and various types of Activity, giving you a holistic view of ongoing operations. These charts often leverage data from across Workslayr’s modules, including Leads, Projects, and Clients.
The ability to filter data by date is also crucial for meaningful analysis. Each tab on the Admin Dashboard, including the Overview, features a date selector in the top right corner. This allows you to narrow down all analytics data to specific timeframes, such as “Last 30 Days” or a “Custom Range,” ensuring your view is always relevant to your current analytical needs.
The Admin Dashboard in Workslayr serves as your central command center for overseeing your business’s operations. Within this powerful dashboard, the Project Analytics Tab provides administrators and project managers with a focused view of all active and completed projects, offering critical insights to monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery. This tab helps you understand the overall health and performance of your projects at a glance, allowing you to make informed decisions.
Understanding Project Analytics #
The Project Analytics Tab is specifically designed to give you a detailed breakdown of your company’s project landscape. Unlike My Dashboard which provides an individual employee’s view, this tab offers a comprehensive, company-wide perspective on project-related metrics. This allows you to track key performance indicators and identify any bottlenecks or areas needing attention across all your projects.
Upon navigating to the Project Analytics Tab within your Admin Dashboard, you will find several key widgets that aggregate important project data:
- Total Projects: This metric displays the total count of all projects currently managed within Workslayr, regardless of their status.
- Overdue Projects: This widget highlights projects that have passed their scheduled completion date, helping you quickly identify those requiring immediate action.
- Total Hours Logged: This figure represents the cumulative hours logged by all employees across all projects for the selected period.
You can adjust the reporting period for all these metrics using the date filter tool located in the top right corner of the dashboard. This flexibility allows you to analyze project performance over specific durations like “Last 30 Days,” “This Month,” or a “Custom Range.”
Customizing Your Project Analytics View #
Just like other tabs within the Admin Dashboard, the Project Analytics Tab offers customization options. By clicking the cogwheel icon, labeled Dashboard Widget Settings, you can control which widgets appear on this tab. This feature allows you to tailor your view to focus on the information most critical to your role and the current operational needs of your business. For more general information on customisation, refer to Customizing Your View and Available Widgets Explained.
