Understanding where your business generates interest is crucial for optimized growth. Workslayr’s Lead Sources feature, found within the Deal Settings, allows your team to precisely track the origin of every potential new client. By accurately categorizing incoming leads, you can gain valuable insights into the effectiveness of your marketing efforts and allocate resources more strategically. This helps ensure your sales pipeline remains robust and efficient.
Managing Your Lead Sources #
The Lead Sources section is where you define and organize the various channels through which your business acquires potential new Lead Contacts. This feature is a foundational component of effective lead management, enabling you to recognize which strategies yield the best results.
You can access Lead Sources by navigating to ‘Settings’ and then searching or scrolling to ‘Lead Settings’. Here, you’ll find options to manage, edit, delete, or create new lead sources. It’s important to keep this list current and comprehensive to reflect all pathways by which a prospect might first engage with your business.
Why Lead Sources Matter #
Accurate Lead Ownership Sources provide unparalleled visibility into your sales and marketing performance. When you create a new Lead Contact, or when a lead comes in through a Lead Capture Form, you’ll have the option to assign a specific Lead Source. This data is then invaluable for filtering and reporting, allowing you to see which sources are generating the most successful conversions to clients or deals.
- Performance Analysis: Easily identify which marketing campaigns, referrals, or other channels are most effective in generating high-quality leads.
- Resource Allocation: Make informed decisions on where to invest your marketing budget and sales efforts by focusing on the sources that bring the highest return.
- Improved Sales Process: Understand the typical journey of leads from different sources, helping your sales team tailor their approach.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize the data gathered about lead origins to continuously refine your business development strategies. Workslayr’s Admin Dashboard provides analytics related to this, helping you visualize trends.
For example, if you implement a new online advertising campaign, you would create a corresponding Lead Source. Then, as leads come in, whether manually added or via an embedded form, you’d associate them with this new source. Over time, you can analyze the success rate of these specific leads as they progress through your sales pipelines and become converted to deals or clients. This detailed tracking ensures that your operational strategies are always backed by solid data.
Optimizing your sales process is crucial for converting leads into loyal clients. Workslayr’s Pipelines & Stages feature, found within Deal Settings, provides a structured approach to managing your sales workflow, allowing you to visualize and track the progress of each deal from initial contact to successful closure. This organizational tool helps your team maintain clarity and focus on moving deals forward.
Understanding Pipelines and Deal Stages #
In Workslayr, a pipeline represents a complete sales process, often tailored to different types of services or projects your business offers. Within each pipeline, deal stages are the incremental steps a deal moves through as it progresses towards completion. For example, a typical pipeline might include stages such as “New Inquiry,” “Qualification,” “Proposal Sent,” “Negotiation,” and “Closed Won/Lost.” This detailed breakdown ensures that every team member understands the current status of a deal and what actions are required next.
You can customize multiple pipelines to match the various sale cycles your business may have. This flexibility allows you to manage different types of deals, whether they originate from lead capture forms, direct outreach, or other lead sources. Each pipeline can have its own set of sequential stages, providing a tailored journey for every potential sale.
Managing Your Pipelines and Stages #
To effectively manage your sales workflow, Workslayr allows you to create, edit, and reorder pipelines and their associated stages. Here’s how you can configure them:
- Navigate to Deal Settings, which is accessible from the main navigation menu by going to ‘Settings’ and then searching for ‘Lead Settings’.
- Select the ‘Pipelines’ tab. Here, you’ll see a list of your existing pipelines.
- To create a new pipeline, click the ‘Add New’ button. You can assign a unique name and choose a label color to visually differentiate it.
- Once a pipeline is created, you can add deal stages to it. For each stage, you can specify its name, an optional description, and its position relative to other stages within that pipeline (e.g., ‘before’ or ‘after’ a specific stage).
- Workslayr also enables you to drag and drop stages to easily reorder them, providing an intuitive way to adjust your pipeline flow as needed.
Adjusting the order of deal stages or even entire pipelines is a straightforward process, ensuring that your sales workflow accurately reflects your current business practices. This dynamic capability is essential for businesses that adapt their strategies over time. Whether you are creating lead contacts directly or managing inbound inquiries, clear pipelines and stages simplify the sales process for your employees managing the deals.
Deal categories allow for the organization and classification of deals within Workslayr. Categorization helps track and report on different types of deals.
Managing Deal Categories #
You can create, edit, or delete deal categories from within the Deal Settings. Access this by navigating to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Lead Settings’.
To create a new category, use the designated interface in Deal Settings. Existing categories can be modified or removed as needed. Categories are defined by a name.
When creating a new Lead Contact, the option to create a deal concurrently includes a field for Deal Category. This field allows you to assign a category to the deal at its creation stage.
Usage of Deal Categories #
Deal categories enhance the filtering capabilities for deals. In the Deals view, which offers both table and Kanban layouts, categories can be used as a filter. This helps users narrow down deals based on defined types. For example, a business offering both web development and marketing services could categorize deals accordingly.
Within Client Analytics Tab, administrators can view various charts and metrics, which can benefit from structured deal categories for better analysis.
- Define custom categories to match specific business models or service offerings.
- Assign categories during deal creation to ensure proper classification.
- Utilize category filters in the deals list or Kanban view for focused management.
Properly categorizing deals helps administrators and sales teams manage their pipeline and analyze deal progression more effectively. This supports Lead → Client Lifecycle tracking.
Deal Agents are employees assigned to manage specific deals in Workslayr. This feature allows for the assignment and categorization of personnel responsible for progressing deals through pipelines.
To manage Deal Agents, navigate to Deal Settings. Agents can be created, edited, and deactivated from this section. They manage the flow of lead contacts as they become deals.
Creating and Managing Deal Agents #
To create a new Deal Agent, select an employee from the available list. Each agent can be assigned to one or more deal categories. Categorizing agents allows for controlled distribution of deals based on specific criteria.
- Assign Employees: Choose an existing employee from your Workslayr account to designate as a Deal Agent.
- Define Categories: Create Deal Categories and assign them to agents. This restricts agents to managing deals within their assigned categories. For example, an agent specializing in “Hardware Installation” deals would only receive deals categorized as such.
- Enable/Disable: Agents can be enabled or disabled as needed. Disabling an agent prevents them from being assigned new deals but retains their past deal history.
The system also supports Round Robin Assignment for leads, ensuring an equitable distribution of new deals among active agents. This helps distribute the workload among sales personnel managing captured leads.
During the process of converting leads to deals, the assigned Deal Agent will be responsible for further engagement, including scheduling project follow-ups or generating proposals.
The Leads module in Workslayr can be enabled or disabled based on your operational requirements. Disabling this module removes all lead and deal management functionalities from the interface.
Disabling the Leads module affects visibility and access to related features. It centralizes control over whether your organization utilizes lead and deal tracking within Workslayr.
How to Enable/Disable the Leads Module #
To enable or disable the Leads module, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to App Settings.
- Locate Module Settings.
- Under ‘Admin and Employee settings’, find the toggle switch for ‘Leads’.
- Toggle the switch to enable or disable the module.
When the toggle switch is turned off, the ‘Leads’ tab will be hidden from the main navigation panel. Additionally, all associated settings under Deal Settings will no longer be accessible.
Disabling the module also removes the ability to create new Lead Contacts or manage Deals & Pipelines. Existing lead and deal data will not be displayed, and functionalities such as Lead Capture Forms will cease to function for new submissions.
