Workslayr’s Dashboard Reports provide a centralized hub for monitoring your business operations, offering both individual and company-wide insights. These dashboards are designed to give you a quick, at-a-glance overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to your role, helping you stay informed and make timely decisions about projects, clients, and employee activities.
Understanding Dashboard Views #
Workslayr features two primary dashboard views, each tailored to different user needs within your organization. These distinct perspectives ensure that individual employees see pertinent data while administrators maintain a holistic view of the company’s performance.
My Dashboard Analytics #
The My Dashboard Analytics serves as a personalized hub for each employee. You can easily access this by navigating to ‘Dashboard’ in your left navigation bar. Its purpose is to display information directly relevant to your daily tasks and overall individual performance. For instance, you will find options to Clock In/Out and view personal workload metrics. You have the flexibility to customize the widgets displayed on your My Dashboard using the Dashboard Widget Settings, allowing you to turn on or off various widgets such as your My Tasks, Weekly Time Logs, or Leads.
Admin Dashboard Analytics #
For administrators, the Admin Dashboard Analytics offers a comprehensive overview of the entire company’s operations. This view provides critical insights across multiple facets of your business. Within the ‘Overview’ tab, you can track key metrics such as Total Clients, Total Employees, Total Projects, and Due Invoices. The Admin Dashboard also includes dedicated tabs for Project, Client, HR, Tickets, and Finance, each offering specific metrics and analytical charts. For example, the Project Analytics Tab will show you metrics like Total Projects and Overdue Projects, which is distinct from the more detailed analysis available in Project Reports. The Client Analytics Tab displays metrics like Total Clients and Deal Conversions, helping you understand your sales pipeline performance.
Filtering and Customization #
Both dashboards offer significant flexibility in how you view and analyze data. On the Admin Dashboard, you can utilize a Date Filters & Time Ranges selector to filter all analytics data across its various tabs, allowing you to examine trends over specific periods. Similarly, both ‘My Dashboard’ and ‘Admin Dashboard’ feature Widget Visibility Controls via a cogwheel icon, enabling you to customize which widgets appear on your screen, focusing only on the information most vital to you.
For project-specific insights beyond the dashboard overview, consider exploring the dedicated Project Reports. These provide deeper dives into areas like Project Progress & Status Reports, Budget vs Actual Hours, and Project Earnings & Expenses.
The Admin Dashboard Analytics in Workslayr provides administrators with a comprehensive, birds-eye view of your company’s operational health and performance. This powerful feature allows you to monitor key metrics across various modules, helping you make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement. It complements the individual insights offered by My Dashboard Analytics, giving you centralized control and oversight.
Understanding Your Admin Dashboard #
As an administrator, your Admin Dashboard is specifically designed to give you a detailed overview of your entire business operations. Unlike an employee’s personal dashboard, which focuses on individual tasks and schedules, the Admin Dashboard aggregates data across all projects, clients, and employees, offering a holistic perspective. You can navigate to the Admin Dashboard from the left navigation bar, typically found under ‘Dashboard’ after ‘My Dashboard’.
Key Analytics Tabs and Metrics #
The Admin Dashboard is organized into several dedicated tabs, each providing a focused set of metrics and visual reports. This structure ensures that you can quickly access the information most relevant to a specific area of your business:
- Overview Tab: This is your initial glance at the company’s pulse, featuring eight essential metrics such as Total Clients, Total Employees, Total Projects, Due Invoices, Hours Logged, Pending Tasks Daily, Today’s Attendance, and Unresolved Tickets. Alongside these, you’ll find graphs and charts for Income, Time Sheets, Pending Leaves, Open Tickets, Pending Tasks, Pending Follow-ups, and various Activity types.
- Project Tab: Dive into your project portfolio with metrics like Total Projects, Overdue Projects, and Total Hours Logged. This tab provides a quick summary of your team’s project workload and progress, which can be further explored in Project Reports.
- Client Tab: Understand your customer base and sales pipeline. This section displays Total Clients, Total Leads, Total Deals, Deal Conversions, Contracts Generated, and Contracts Signed. Visualizations include Client-wise Earnings, Client-wise Time Sheets, Deal Count by Stages and Pipelines, and Leads Count by Different Sources, offering a comprehensive view of your client management and sales efforts.
- HR Tab: Manage your workforce effectively with insights into Leaves Approved, Employee Exits, Today’s Attendance, Average Attendance, Total Number of Employees, and New Employees. Charts break down employees by Designation, Department, Gender, and Role, along with Headcount over the last 12 months. Additional data covers Leaves Taken, Birthdays, and Late Attendance.
- Tickets Tab: Monitor your support and service requests with metrics for Resolved Tickets, Unresolved Tickets, and Total Unassigned Tickets.
- Finance Tab: Keep track of your financial overview with Total Paid Invoices, Total Due Invoices, Total Expenses, Total Earnings, and Total Pending Amount. Charts help visualize Proposal Overviews, Client-wise Earning Charts, Earning by Project Charts, Invoice Overview Chart, and Estimate Overview Chart.
Customizing and Filtering Your View #
To tailor the data presented on your Admin Dashboard, Workslayr provides flexible customization and filtering options. You can use the date selector in the top-right corner of each tab to apply Date Filters & Time Ranges, allowing you to view analytics data for specific periods such as ‘Today’, ‘Last 30 Days’, ‘This Month’, or a ‘Custom Range’. Additionally, a cogwheel icon labeled Dashboard Widget Settings on each Admin Dashboard tab enables you to control which specific widgets are displayed, ensuring your dashboard focuses on the most critical metrics for your operational analysis.
The My Dashboard in Workslayr provides individual employees with an overview of their operational data. This view focuses on metrics relevant to the user’s assigned tasks and activities. It is distinct from the Admin Dashboard, which provides company-wide insights.
Accessing My Dashboard Analytics #
Access your personal analytics by navigating to ‘Dashboard’ and then ‘My Dashboard’ in the left navigation bar. This is the default view for all employees upon login.
Customizing Your View #
Users can customize the information displayed on their My Dashboard using the Dashboard Widget Settings. This is accessed via a cogwheel icon near the clock-in button.
Employees can enable or disable various widgets to suit their focus:
- Profile Info, Birthdays, Appreciations
- My Tasks (pending and overdue projects)
- Weekly Time Logs, Leads, Tickets
- Probation Dates, Internship Dates, Shift Schedule Notices
- My Calendar, On Leave Today, On Work From Home Today
- Work Anniversary, Notice Period Duration, Contract Date
- Follow-ups
Clicking values within widgets, such as pending projects or leads, redirects to the corresponding detailed screens for further action or information.
Clock In/Out Functionality #
The Clock In button is present on the My Dashboard. Employees can record their start and end times for the workday. The system enforces clock-in based on employee profile settings. This directly impacts attendance tracking and time log reports.
Workslayr dashboards use date filters and time ranges to adjust the data displayed. These controls allow users to view metrics relevant to specific periods.
Both My Dashboard and Admin Dashboard views apply these filters to their respective data sets. This ensures that only information from the selected period appears in widgets and charts.
Applying Date Filters on the Admin Dashboard #
The Admin Dashboard Analytics includes a date selector in the top right corner of each tab. This filter adjusts all analytical data within that tab.
- Select a preset range such as ‘Today’, ‘Last 30 Days’, ‘This Month’, or ‘Last 1 Year’.
- Choose ‘Custom Range’ to specify a unique start and end date.
These filters impact displayed data for elements such as clients, employees, projects, deals, and expenses. For example, selecting ‘This Month’ will show only invoices due within the current month.
Impact on Dashboard Widgets #
Date filters also affect the data shown in Dashboard Widget Settings. Widgets like ‘Weekly Time Logs’ or ‘Pending Tasks Daily’ update based on the chosen time range.
For more information on customizing which widgets are visible, refer to Widget Visibility Controls. For detailed views of project-specific data, see Project Reports Overview.
Workslayr provides customization options for dashboard reports. Users can control which widgets appear on their My Dashboard and which sections are visible on the Admin Dashboard. This feature allows individuals and administrators to tailor their data views.
Widget visibility for both dashboards is managed via a cogwheel icon. This icon provides a menu of available display options.

Administrators can manage widget visibility for each tab within the Admin Dashboard. This is done via a cogwheel icon specific to each tab.
The Overview Tab, Project Tab, Client Tab, HR Tab, Tickets Tab, and Finance Tab each have their own customizable widget sets. This allows administrators to adjust their granular views of company operations.
